Community Engagement

Giving back to the people and organizations that help our communities thrive is a core value of our business. Just as the farmers and ranchers have been entrusted as stewards of the land, AgWest has the same responsibility – to enhance the rural communities in which we live and work.

Our stewardship programs include robust scholarship opportunities, supporting regional universities and investing in economic development, and quality-of-life projects. In 2021, the Farm Credit associations that merged to form AgWest Farm Credit contributed a combined total of nearly $5.5 million to support these programs and the communities across our territory. We contribute to hundreds of organizations every year.

AgWest staff are equally committed to the betterment of our communities, having invested thousands of volunteer hours last year – both in partnership with our customers and independently.
