At AgWest, the continued success and vibrance of the organization relies on direct feedback from customers to leadership.
AgWest’s Local Advisors are a group of customers from various regions across AgWest’s territory who provide valuable insight, advice, diverse perspectives, and a direct communications link between customers to the Board of Directors and Management Operating Committee. Each member of the Local Advisory Committee provides broader representation than the board itself can with its limited numbers.
Throughout the year, select board members and the CEO meet with the Local Advisors from each region. Updates are provided on the association’s operating results, and feedback is solicited regarding how the association is performing in the advisor’s region, what we can do better, and if proposed new programs seem relevant.
"It shows that they care. AgWest is not just there; they want to understand the boots on the dirt. They want to know what’s really going on out there, not just loan you money."
— Matt Palmer

"Agriculture is a dynamic industry that changes quickly. To serve us well, AgWest focuses on both educating their members and being equally educated by their members."
— Nicole Van Vleck
