In 2023, Region 2 (Montana) and Region 6 (Southern San Joaquin Valley) each have one director position up for election. The Nominating Committee has selected two director candidates from each of these regions to be placed on the ballot which will be mailed to voting stockholders following the Annual Stockholders’ Meeting scheduled for September 19:

The Notice of Annual Stockholders’ Meeting will be mailed in late August and posted on this website. Biographical and background information about each candidate will be posted following the Annual Meeting. Director election results will be announced in mid-October and newly elected directors will be seated on the AgWest Board of Directors effective Jan. 1, 2024.
In 2024, Region 3 (Idaho) will have two director positions up for election and Region 7 (Coastal) will have one director position up for election.
No person is eligible to serve on the Board of Directors unless he or she:
Candidates are required to provide information on business/financial relationships, financial disclosures and other information required to establish eligibility and that are required by regulation, AgWest Farm Credit bylaws and applicable board policies. If you would like to be considered by the Nominating Committee for a director position in Region 3 or 7, apply online or contact jill.surby@agwestfc.com. You must submit your information prior to Jan. 1 to be considered for the 2024 director elections.
The Nominating Committee considers numerous potential candidates from a number of different sources. Only those candidates that are selected by the Nominating Committee will be contacted to interview.
Nominating Committee members are elected each year by the voting stockholders to screen, interview and select director candidates for board elections as well as candidates to serve on the following year’s Nominating Committee.
