Barry Powell serves on the AgWest Board of Directors. Prior to the merger of Northwest Farm Credit Services and Farm Credit West, Barry was Chairman of the Farm Credit West Audit Committee and served on the Corporate Governance Committee. 

He is a financial consultant within the agricultural sector and from August 2013 until December 2021, Barry was CEO for North Valley Ag Services, a fertilizer cooperative. Currently, he is an Outside Director on the Board for North Valley Ag Services. For over 25 years, from  1986 until 2011, Barry served as a CFO for two agricultural cooperatives in California. 

Barry is a fifth generation California resident.
