Chief Risk Officer

John serves as Chief Risk Officer for AgWest Farm Credit. He has been employed by the Farm Credit System since 2003, most recently serving as Chief Risk Officer for AgWest’s predecessor, Farm Credit West, responsible for portfolio and association wide management reporting and stress testing.

Prior to serving as Chief Risk Officer, John served as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Farm Credit West’s Enterprise Risk Management, as a lender in the Tulare Dairy Center and as an intern in the Hanford office.

John grew up in Hanford, California on a dairy farm and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from California State University, Fresno.

John and Megan, his high school sweetheart and wife of 18 years, enjoy spending time with their two children.
