*IMPLAN Cloud is the foundational data source for this report. To ensure the accuracy of the IMPLAN model, a rigorous verification process was employed using secondary data sources. This process involved cross-checking industry-wide employment data with the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), confirming agricultural sales with the 2017 USDA Agricultural Census and respective state departments of agricultural statistical services, and verifying total sales for commercial fishing using the dollar landings value of all fish species from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
